As it is now I can use Basic functionality for free (portrait / landscape mode, margins etc.) in 32bit version of ScriptX.

But if I want to use Basic functionality of 64bit version (64bit IE) I have to buy some Licence?

I don't see 64bit version can be downloaded except via some ScriptX Licensee Kit..

Hi

We all work with 64-bit Windows 7 here for which - as I am sure you know - 32-bit IE is the default browser as set by Microsoft.

However if you really have folks deliberately working with the 64-bit IE part then yes, the 64-bit ScriptX module is a  part of our licensee resource kit and is not available 'free'.

I hope that this helps

I discovered tonight that opening IE9-64 in administrator mode works on the site I use that requires ScriptX and the UAC messages do not appear as they do when not in admin mode.  ScriptX was working for me in IE9-64 without being in admin mode but for each page change on the site I use, there were 2 UAC messages for ScriptX requesting ability to "make changes to the computer."  So, apparently you don't have to use a 64-bit ScriptX just to use 64-bit IE.  At least that's my experience so far.

Hello support team,

We just found issues that the print function in my .net web application cannot work under 64-bit Windows 7, IE 64-bit.  The version we are using is 6.1.432.1

Is there any solutions or we had to buy some license. Thanks.

Saro

Like I say above, our 64-bit installers are not available to 'free' users of ScriptX. You would need to acquire (at least) a 'standard' publishing license to access our full set of licensee resources.

While you are here, a question. Why would you still be using such an old version of ScriptX when we provde ALL of our binary versions free for you to download and use.

6.1.432.1 was released MANY years ago, and is (naturally) potentially incompatible with every patch, security update and new OS & IE version introduced by Microsoft in the years since.

Why have you not attempted to remain compatible over the years?
