We have had a long time to get this right and now - with the control installed on many millions of corporate client PCs - we're 100% confident that things are entirely compatible with Microsoft's security requirements straight 'out of the box'.
So our answers are:
1/. Yes.
2/. Licensed ScriptX understands and works with the concept of IE Security Zones. The URL actions that ScriptX needs to support - in either 'free' or 'licensed' use - will work as expected with IE's default security settings.
MeadCo cannot be held responsible for any breakage or interference to proper working caused by the application of custom group policy settings.
