UPDATE: Tester is also getting same errors when trying your Basic Printing Demo Page.  I am testing the basic printing functionality on one of our pages. I am using the code from your basic printing page, and I have only changed the printing from landscape to portrtait and removed your text from the header and footer. I am refrerencing the install cab from my test server too. It works great on my testing machines.  I have tested on two Win 7 machines, one with IE9 and one with IE8.  I have tested on one Win Xp Pro SP3 machine with IE8 and Mcafee protection.  My colleague tested on a similar Win Xp Pro/IE8/Mcafee machine and got some serious install issues.

Any help on solving this error would be appreciated.

Hi

Temporarily disable DEP in Internet Option | Advanced, then do *exactly* this:

Log on to your 'problem' PC(s) with full local computer administrator privileges:

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++

**VITAL**: this will NOT work if you don't do this, or have someone else do it for you.

Please do NOT proceed past this point without access to local admin privileges (i.e. someone must be logged on as a member of your PC's computer administrator user group. NOT 'domain' or 'virtual' or 'remote' or any other sort of admin, this must be *local*).

If you are not the administrator for your machine you will need to contact your systems administrator for their help.

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++

ONLY THEN:

Run this file:

  http://my.meadroid.com/scriptx/bits/7.0.0.8/scriptx.msi

This will install the current release of ScriptX.

Then clear your IE cache, navigate back to the ScriptX-enabled content you have been trying to work with and then try again.

****************
****************

How's that?

Actually you can probably ignore my last instruction to disable DEP ... post IE7 I dont think you have this option anyway.

A clean local admin install should fix your issues.
