All new releases of the ScriptX binaries are both up-to-date as regards features and bug fixes, and fully backwards compatible:
http://scriptx.meadroid.com/knowledge-bank/release-history.aspx
So you would need to be a licensee with a good reason to want to go 'backwards'.
