I have been using ScriptX for a couple of years and most of the time it works very well but
there are some times in which an issue comes up ,at the moment I send a document for printing
this one is not sent to the printer , you can see the printer icon on internet explorer status bar
but printing never starts.

I'm Using IE 7 on XP.

factory.printing.Print() is an alias of IE File menu | Print (or any of IE's other print commands).

So this won't be a ScriptX issue, much more likely to be printer driver / connection.

Are you seeing anything in the box's Admin Tools || Events viewer?

Ok it's me again    I still run into this problem  I have checked the event viewer and it does not show anything (because the print is never sent and the event viewer register the event after the printing is done)  driver are updated
some times I send a print from the File menu of IE and shortly after I send a print using Scriptx and magically everything works!!

the print icon is shown in the bar and never disappear .

Using Window XP and  7

At the point that you see that icon, the print job has been handed off to Windows.

Maybe try a change of printer driver?

OK I realized we were using a older version of the scriptX and installed the latest and it worked....so far
I got to test it a little more.
I tested the option PrintHTMLEx  and what I liked the most is the possibility to see the print status is there any hope
to include this feature in Print command?

edit: lowering ie security settings seemed to help too.
