ScriptX – printing over 2 billion documents every year!

(created on: 19.02.13)

Thanks to all our customers who took part in our first ever ScriptX research questionnaire in early 2013. It gave us some really valuable feedback to better develop ScriptX to meet user needs – watch this space for new options and updates moving forward.

Our research re-affirmed ScriptX’s position as the world’s favourite add-on for total control of printing browser-based documents running Microsoft Internet Explorer, both in terms of numbers and the range of applications it is used in.

In fact over 2 billion pages are printed every year by more than 2 million licensed users around the world. Amongst the top printing uses for ScriptX are:

  • Internally for the content of corporate intranets
  • For labels, including barcodes, patient and shipping labels
  • Externally for website visitors to deliver consistent printing of web pages
  • Invoices, customer statements, receipts and correspondence
  • Logistics information, including consignment notes, despatch notes
  • Clinical information and prescriptions
  • Within banking kiosks for printing customer requested information
  • Customer badges, licenses and loyalty cards

You can read more about the different industries, ranging from healthcare to financial services and shipping, that are using ScriptX on the customer section of the website.

As part of the questionnaire everyone that completed it was entered into a prize draw to win a new tablet. Congratulations to our lucky winner Chris Van Remoortel of Bixby International, who chose a Google Nexus 7 as his prize.
